Switzerland’s humanitarian aid arm, SDC, delivered 40 tons of material to northwestern Iran over the weekend following a deadly earthquake there.
The aid includes 200 tents and insulation for them, 200 heaters, 2000 blankets and basic medical supplies to treat 10,000 people.
The supplies are worth about 500,000 francs.
Crisis experts were sent late last week, after the Iranian government dropped its objection to foreign aid.
At least 300 people died in the earthquake, and thousands were injured.
