A Swiss language teacher kidnapped in Yemen in March has again appeared in a video.
The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed to the SonntagsZeitung newspaper that the second video of the woman exists, but would not give further details to protect the hostage.
Previously the 32-year-old teacher from Bülach had appealed to Swiss officials in May, confirming her captors were Al-Qaeda combatants.
It is believed the woman is being held with a Saudi diplomat in the Shabwa province in eastern Yemen, known as a stronghold for jihadists.
Most of the more than 200 people kidnapped in Yemen in the last 15 years are freed unharmed, often used as leverage while bargaining with authorities.
