Austria seems to be benefiting from the strong Swiss franc, as the Swiss look for deals abroad. 

The firm Statistik Austria today said the number of Swiss stays in Austrian hotels jumped 42 percent in May, compared to May last year.

The Swiss guests in Austria were joined above all by more Germans, who are also a key clientele for Swiss hotels.

Swiss hotels in April showed 5 percent fewer total guests, though numbers for May are not yet available.
