Stradivarius left on train

Bern police say an unnamed musician left a Stradivarius violin on a train Friday.

The pricey instrument was lent to the musician, who forgot it when getting off the train in Bern.

Train staff searched for it to no avail, but surveillance cameras showed another passenger walking off with the violin at another station.

The instrument was returned to a lost and found office Sunday.

Police did not give more details on the instrument or musician, but works by Antonio Stradivari can be worth millions of francs.
