Four men and two women died when the Piper aircraft they were flying in crashed on Saturday afternoon.

The accident took place in Tartroz in the canton of Fribourg.

There were no survivors.

The cause of the crash is not yet known but witnesses say strong winds could be to blame. Police are investigating.
