A new right-wing political party is to be founded on Saturday at a secret location.

The Direct Democratic Party of Switzerland will position itself to the right of the Swiss People’s Party on certain matters, such as freedom of speech.

Founder Ignaz Bearth told the Tages Anzeiger newspaper the focus will be on rejecting accession to the EU, upholding freedom of thought, stopping Islamisation, keeping taxes as low as possible and optimising asylum politics.
