Another team of scientists at CERN near Geneva says its experiment refutes an earlier find that particles move faster than the speed of light.
Nobel Prize winning physicist Carlo Rubbia led the team using a different experiment to measure neutrinos shot to a lab in Italy.
Rubbia said his team’s measurements show something was not right with an experiment last year which purported to show neutrinos defying current scientific understanding of the universe.
Last month other researchers said they found a flaw in the technical set-up of the speedy neutrino experiment, which may explain the faster than light-speed findings.
