It’s official. Michele Bachmann is no longer Swiss.

The canton of Thurgau says it’s annulled the conservative U.S. congresswoman’s citizenship.

Michele Bachmann’s husband has Swiss parents.

Earlier this year she announced she and her family had requested Swiss passports.

That drew a firestorm in conservative circles in U.S.

After she had renounced her Swiss citizenship.

Michele Bachmann wrote on her website she was 100 percent American, and proud to be part of the greatest nation the world has ever known.
