Unemployment dropped.1 percent in Switzerland from April to May.

The national average is now at 3 percent, but compared to last year 5,000 more people are out of work.

That’s according to the latest figures from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs.

SECO says partial unemployment was on the rise though for the month of March.

That month nearly 3,000 people out of work also reached the end of their rights to unemployment insurance.
