The French culture minister says he’s worried about the health of the film director Roman Polanski who’s been under house arrest in Switzerland since the Autumn.
In an interview with French media at the Cannes film festival, Frédéric Mitterrand wouldn’t be drawn any further on the situation, admitting his position as a government minister could complicate things.
Meanwhile a petition in support of Polanski has been signed by a number of film directors at the Cannes film festival.
