Police in Haiti say four men have admitted to killing a Swiss aid worker with the Zurich-based Black Rain Group, which supports orphanages and homes for the elderly.
The aid worker was reportedly investigating the finances of an orphanage in northern Haiti.
A police spokesman said phone records led investigators to the director and accountant of the orphanage, who with his brother, hired two assassins for the equivalent of about 60 dollars.
It is unclear why the 45-year-old aid worker was investigating the orphanage.
The Black Rain Group did respond to an Associated Press request for comment.
