Former footballer guilty of rape
A former FC St Gallen football player has been found guilty of rape.
The 23-year-old man from Cameroon received a two-year suspended sentence.
The prosecutor called for three years in prison with partial suspension.
The player must pay 20,000 francs in compensation to the victim who lives in Lausanne.
