European Union MPs overwhelmingly passed a resolution criticizing Switzerland’s invoking an emergency clause in the Free Movement of People Accord.
The non-binding resolution calls the move discriminatory and asks Switzerland to reconsider.

The free movement of people will be on the agenda for Swiss talks with Brussels late next month.
