The counter project to the so-called Minder initiative is out.

The Liberal Greens tipped the scales against this text that proposes to tax bonuses of over three million francs.

The right would rather see Senator Thomas Minder withdraw his initiative. They’ve handed him a text of their own.

Isabelle Chevalley is a National Councillor with the Liberal Greens and says, « Politics is all about concensus and compromise, and this proposal is an excellent compromise in achieving the aim of his own intiative: to fight against overblown bonuses. »

Minder says the people are ripe to vote on this issue, but the daunting task of fighting a campaign against the business lobby is making it hard to decide whether to go ahead with his initiative or not.
