Urban bees bring taste of honey—and nature—to Lausanne city centre

City bees, and soon, city honey. That’s Lausanne’s plan to bring nature’s touch back to downtown. On terraces caught between a busy street and a bustling building, three hives have appeared, and their residents are busy now too, pollinating the lavender and geraniums. The fruit of their labor could soon be on sale in local stores. WRS’s Lucas Chambers finds out more:
