UBS whistleblower Birkenfeld comes out fighting
The UBS whistleblower Bradley Birkenfeld is being released from jail in Pennsylvania later today after two and a half years inside. He will spend time in either a half-way house or home confinement in New Hampshire. Birkenfeld is coming out fighting, providing World Radio Switzerland with a statement from jail slamming the handling of his case by former Department of Justice officials. But he’s also promising to cooperate further with the U.S. and other international governments. From Washington Daniel Ryntjes reports:
