UBS deal 'clearly not a victory for Swiss law'
Back in August the United States government and Swiss bank UBS avoided going before a federal court in Florida by agreeing to an eleventh hour settlement that would see UBS handing over the names of thousands of American clients suspected of dodging their taxes. Earlier today we found out more about this agreement, and in particular, who IRS has been chasing. WRS’s Conor Lennon invites Carlo Lombardini, a lawyer who specialises in the financial sector, and economic journalist Myret Zaki to help us fill in the gaps:
