Switzerland enjoys a good reputation abroad for the quality of its medical facilities and care. A move is now afoot not just to attract people to Switzerland for healthcare but to offer them a comparable product abroad. One of the leading supporters of this approach is Peter Kappert, chairman of the Sonnenhof Group. The Bern-based group was the first to expand overseas, opening a Swiss-managed hospital in Ras al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.
