TRIAL calls for more action to track suspected war criminals

This week has seen the tracking down of one of the most wanted remaining officers of the Nazi apparatus just as the world marked an international day commemorating efforts to bring war criminals to justice. But is enough being done to track them down? For the Geneva-based NGO, TRIAL (Track Impunity Always), the answer is no. The organisation’s lawyers say they believe Switzerland may be host to several war criminals. Criminals who, since they settled in the country, face no consequences for the crimes they committed back home. WRS’s Jo Fahy talks to Bénédict de Moerloose, a lawyer working for TRIAL:
