Tax accord referendum undermined by slow mail
Lost in the mail—this age-old excuse may have ruined the chances of voters wanting a national referendum on tax deals. Earlier this week, the Association for an Independent and Neutral Switzerland fell just short of the 50,000 signatures they needed to hold a vote on the tax accords with Germany, the UK and Austria. Now, it turns out that many signatures were indeed in the mail when the deadline passed. WRS’s Jordan Davis explains:
