Switzerland, home of the unemployed's entrepreneurial dream
Switzerland seems to be fertile ground for companies launched by the unemployed. More than 90 percent of these enterprises are still viable after three years. This is according to a new report from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). WRS’s Alex Helmick asks Marc Gruber, head of the study and of the Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization Chair at the EPFL, what makes this type of entrepreneurship so special:
