Switzerland freezes all arms exports to United Arab Emirates
Swiss authorities have temporarily banned the sale of war materials to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The move comes after the Swiss German newspaperSonntagzeitung
published a photo showing a RUAG grenade in Syria. RUAG is based in Switzerland. WRS’s Alex Helmick speaks to Marie Avet from the Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO):
