Swiss top competitiveness list again
Switzerland is ranked number one in the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Index for the fourth year in a row. It has topped the list of 144 countries—ahead of Singapore, Finland and Sweden. So what factors are taken into account when ranking countries like this and what picture does it paint of the current state of the global economy? Thierry Geiger, an economist at the World Economic Forum talks to WRS’s Dave Goodman:
