Swiss soften relations with Myanmar as Suu Kyi visits Bern
Aung San Suu Kyi will continue her tour of Europe later. She’ll be heading to Norway today to finally receive her Nobel Peace Prize. But this morning she’s waking up in Bern where she’s expected to visit the Swiss Parliament. Last night she attended drinks with Federal Councilors but had to cancel a dinner because she was feeling ill. WRS’s Jordan Davis was there when she arrived in Bern:
