Fastest man on wheels races toward London
Marcel Hug might just be the epitome of perseverance and determination. After two bronze medals in the 2004 Athens Paralympics, he didn’t win a single medal in Beijing four years later. But that only inspired him to work harder. And in the following years, Hug became the best wheelchair track-and-field athlete in the world. For the final installment of the Swiss Olympic Dreams series, WRS’s Alex Helmick visits Hug at his training facility, just outside Lucerne:
