Swiss Muslims welcome visitors to mosques
The timing of this weekend’s Open Mosque Day cannot have been accidental, as the debate about Islam’s place in Switzerland intensifies ahead of a nationwide vote on whetehr to ban the construction of minarets. The event saw mosques across Switzerland open their door to visitors, in attempt to encourage greater understanding of their faith, as Lucas Chambers reports.
