Swiss households throw out one plateful of food a day
The average Swiss wastes about one plateful of food a day. Collectively that works out to two million tons of food every year. WWF-Switzerland published this report which says that surprisingly it’s not restaurants but people at home who are the main culprits. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to Pierrette Rey, who is with WWF-Switzerland:
