Swiss-EU bilaterals could face long impasse
“Brussels says no to Switzerland.” That’s the way much of the press has characterized an internal report sizing up Switzerland’s proposals for re-starting a stalled bilateral relationship. It was first revealed by the French-language daily Le Temps yesterday. EU member states are now discussing a final, official position. WRS’s Jordan Davis looks at what could be the makings of a long impasse:
