Swiss banking employees feeling the pinch
Banks have taken a bit of a battering in the last few years but there could be more trouble ahead for employees in Switzerland. A report by the Swiss Banking Association confirmed on Monday that the contribution of the banking industry to the Swiss economy is set to shrink over the next ten years. Unemployment in the sector is already on the rise, and of course, the news means it is not going to improve any time soon. WRS’s Dave Goodman asks Secretary General of the Swiss Union of Banking Employees, Denise Chervet, how employees are reacting to the situation:
