Swiss architect's 'dialogue' of buildings at Venice Biennale
Architect and ETH Professor Miroslav Šik is representing Switzerland at this year’s 13th International Architecture Exhibition—la Biennale di Venezia. Šik rejects flashy architecture which stands out in solitary splendour, preferring buildings which fit in with their environment. The title for this year’s exhibition chosen by its director, the British architect, David Chipperfield, is Common Ground. Šik spoke about his plans in Zurich earlier this week.
