What apes can tell us about language
Swiss researchers will head to Uganda and the Ivory Coast to study apes in an attempt to understand the origins of language. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to the head of the study, Klaus Zuberbuhler from the Comparative Cognition Laboratory at the University of Neuchatel to find out how studying apes now can help us learn about the development of language:
