Study reveals reasons why Swiss demonstrate
Why do Swiss people go out to protest? A new study from the Swiss National Science Foundation is trying to answer just that. It’s in coordination with researchers across Europe who are doing the same work in their countries. Up to now research on protests looked simply at the percentages of people who demonstrate or plan to demonstrate. But WRS’s Jordan Davis reports that this study aims to help explain how the political system has an impact on people’s decision to take to the streets:
