Siberian cold front extends its stay
The lowland regions of Switzerland suffered bitterly cold temperatures over the weekend with whipping winds pushing the wind chill factor to dangerously cold levels as low as -20 to -25°C in some places. So how much longer will this Siberian cold front be with us? WRS’s Alex Helmick puts the question to MeteoSwiss forecaster Lionel Peyraud, who says we’re going to have to endure very cold weather at least until the weekend:
