Sergio Perez to leave Swiss F1 team Sauber in 2013
Swiss Formula One team Sauber’s star driver, Sergio Perez, signed a deal with F1 giants McLaren, replacing Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton will be replacing seven-time champion Michael Schumacher in a reported mega-deal. Perez became the Hinwil-based team’s number one with two impressive podiums this season, and is expected to finish the remaining six races this season for Sauber. WRS’s Alex Helmick asks Swiss-German television SF’s Formula One commentator Michael Stauble whether this departure might also mean losing the Mexican millions in sponsorship:
