Senators preserve welfare for asylum seekers
Senators won’t take away welfare benefits from asylum seekers. They voted against a controversial measure approved in June by Parliament’s other house, the National Council. But by broad margins, they approved a number of other restrictions. WRS’s Jordan Davis reports from Bern:
