Senate considers stopgap to stem tide of civilian service apps
Is it too easy to get out of military service? Now that people who want to opt for civilian service no longer have to plead their case before a commission, the ranks of the civilian service have swelled. The Senate this morning is looking at a motion urging the government to act fast to tighten those restrictions. WRS’s Carla Drysdale spoke to our reporter Jordan Davis who’s at the Federal Palace in Bern:
