Savoring a week of 'slow food' across the country
Starting today, and over the next 10 days, more than 1,000 events across the country will be celebrating local wholesome food and giving the public a chance to think about where our food comes from. Its name translates roughly as the “week of tastes” and echoes similar events in 12 other countries. WRS’s Dave Goodman spoke to Alessandra Roversi, president of the Slow Food Organisation in western Switzerland:
