Russia wants governments to control Internet
Who controls the Internet? It might seem like a strange question but it’s one that will be asked in a few months time when International Telecommunications Regulations are discussed at a meeting of the Geneva-based International Telecommunications Union in Dubai. Russia wants them changed but they face strong opposition from the United States. WRS’s Dave Goodman talks to Markus Kummer from internet freedom campaigners The Internet Society to find out what they’re proposing:
