Running the Jungfrau marathon for charity
This weekend, runners will take on the Jungfrau marathon. The route runs from Interlaken to Kleine Scheidegg. John Wood, a former Microsoft executive who gave up his career to start the charity Room to Read, will be one of them. The NGO builds libraries and schools and funds education for girls in 10 countries including Nepal, Cambodia and Bangladesh. The charity has chapters all over the world, including in Zurich and Geneva. Wood talks to WRS’s Jo Fahy:
