Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri at the Lausanne Opera
The Lausanne Opera has decided to perform Gioacchino Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri, a story that has a bit of everything: lust, love, betrayal. The first performance is November 26, under the musical direction of Italian Ottavio Danone. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to the tenor Lawrence Brownlee, who plays the part of Lindoro:
