RoadCross: Why Swiss drivers don't need to carry breathalysers
Breathalysers have been around for over 40 years now but would you carry one in the car? From July 1 in France having a so-called “alcotest” with you when you drive will become mandatory. You could be fined if you don’t. So should Switzerland follow suit? Not according to the Roadcross organization who campaign for road safety. Spokesman Silvan Granig told WRS’s Dave Goodman what the test involves and why he’s against them:
