Report finds plenty of wage dumping—but usually not by much
Last year the free movement of people accord meant over 40,000 more European workers came to live and work in Switzerland. There has been a lot of concern about the effect of that accord on wages here, and a report out today from the State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO) gives an idea of just how widespread wage dumping might be. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to our reporter Jordan Davis, who’s been crunching through the numbers at Federal Palace in Bern:
