At this time of year, stands selling hot chestnuts spring up around the country. Chestnut groves also used to be a common site in central Switzerland but since the ’50s they’ve become rarer. But a small group of dedicated nut enthusiasts are trying to bring back the Swiss chestnut, and WRS’s Jo Fahy went to meet them:
