Red Cross deems Syria in state of civil war
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says the violence in Syria is an internal armed conflict, otherwise known as a civil war. WRS’s Alex Helmick asks BBC reporter Imogen Foulkes what these changes with regards to international intervention:
