Quarter of children of divorced parents live in poverty
Currently 25 percent of children of divorced parents live under the poverty line. This week a consultation ended on new laws to help prevent parents, particularly women, from falling into poverty after a divorce. However, charities and family support groups say that the proposed changes are not enough. To find out why, WRS’s Dave Goodman speaks to divorce lawyer Ann Reiser:
