Opponents huffy over proposed uniform smoking ban
Next month Switzerland votes on whether to ban smoking in workplaces. The poll is especially aimed at creating a uniform law against smoking in restaurants and bars across Switzerland. Supporters say it’s a matter of public health especially for employees in the hospitality industry. But opponents say the initiative is heavy-handed as WRS’s Jordan Davis reports:
