Polanski finally collects lifetime achievement award in Zurich

Two years after Roman Polanski was arrested in Zurich on his way to the city’s international film festival, the director was back last night to tidy up some unfinished business. Polanski finally picked up his lifetime achievement award after being taken into custody at Zurich airport in 2009 on the request of U.S. authorities over charges of having unlawful sex with a minor. WRS’s Jo Fahy was at the award ceremony and tells host Dave Goodman about the eventful evening:
