Organ donation could face radical change
A planned motion in the government could radically change the organ donation process. Council of States Senator Felix Gutzwiller from Zurich proposes reversing the current process, making all Swiss citizens organ donors unless they refuse consent. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to Franz Immer, director of Swisstransplant about the new proposal and why organ donation in Switzerland is so low:
