'Number of refugees comparable to Kosovo' says UNHCR
On-going crises and emergencies around the world are causing a humanitarian situation at never before seen levels in recent history. The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) based in Geneva says new and old conflicts are pushing some 2,000 refugees across borders everyday, more than 800,000 last year.
