Samantha Geimer 'relieved' that Polanski not extradited
The woman at the center of a child sex case involving film director Roman Polanski says she is “very relieved” that Switzerland decided not to extradite him. Samantha Geimer was 13 years old when the incident happened in California in 1977. She gave a rare interview to CNN. Polanski pled guilty to rape but fled the country because he said he lost faith in the judge. Last September he was arrested as a fugitive in Switzerland.
